York Station is so photogenic! I love the curving arch of the celing in this photo, the train to Hull mirroring the curve ever so slightly.

I moved to York almost three years ago to start my undergrad degree at the University of York. I'm about to finish my final year, but I'm still staying! I love York and everything about the city, from campus, to the Minster, to the outlying areas of York that I have yet to explore. I hope to live in York in years to come.
One of my favourite aspects of York is arriving to work on a Sunday morning at 9:45am, cycling past the Minster as all the bells ring out across the city. It is the most amazing sound. On certain days, I can hear the bells as I set out on my journey into town, calling me to the city centre.
I hope that this blog will give you new and exciting insights from the touristy, to the not so much, into the glorious city of York
Photogenic it is. That's a really great arch.
ReplyDeleteWow that train is wild colours. this scene is so familiar. I used to catch the train back home from work from this station every day for about three years!
